Christmas Faces & Voices

I love to watch the faces of everyone on Christmas morning. The anticipation of opening those gifts is phenomenal. My husband always told me that I had a voice on Christmas morning whenever I woke him up. I heard that voice from many people when they called to wish me a "Merry Christmas" and to say they were on their way over. As they walked in the door the excitement was radiating out of them. We try to open one gift at a time and watch as the gift is opened. Sometimes "we" tend to forget whose turn it is and just begin ripping. My two year old grandson had to help me unwrap my gifts. The two girls asked to be taken shopping this year so that they could buy something for their family. Of course, that also included themselves. As the four year old handed out her gifts she also gave clues such as..."This is a game for you". It was so much fun to watch the joy on the faces of all involved. The ten month old was typical. He played with boxes, paper, and old toys. Now we only have a year to wait to see and hear it all over agaqin.

An attempt

Can you believe it. I have just created a blog! Not only did I create my own blog (going through Alicia's) but I first repaired my own internet access. I have been waiting a long time for some help...but I researched things myself and was able to gain access again. Do you know that some laptops have a switch that can turn off the access to your network? Well, neither did I... but I do know it now. I really wonder who could have turned it off. I have a sneaky suspicion that it might have been a blond, blue-eyed two-year old that is absolutely fascinated with machinery of any sort.

I have no idea what I should be writing about so this will be a work in progress. Since anyone reading this knows me I don't think that I will go into any detail about me. Suffice it to say... you have already heard it.
