Too long

I thought I had published a new blog but it does not appear when I go to my site. I guess I don't remember how to do it or something. I will try this again. I know I mentioned all the good thingsd that have been happening in my life since my last communication...i.e. Christ's "birthday", Peaches' sixth birthday, Bubba's first birthday, Speep's third birthday, Christ's resurrection, my birthday. I am enjoying the warmer weather and having the opportunity to spend times outdoors with Peach, Apple, Speep, and Bubba. They are soooo much fun to be around. I enjoy the hugs, kisses, notes, drawings, secrets that we all share.

Time Flies

Boy, that old saying "time flies when you are having fun" is certainly true. I cannot believe that I have not posted anything since December. What great things have happened since then...
the celebration of Christ's birth, a granddaughter's sixth birthday, a grandson's first birthday, a grandson's third birthday, the celebration of Christ's resurrection, my birthday, a ladies' retreat to name a few. Why didn't I write about any of them? I think I must have been having too much fun. God has put so many good things in my life. I wonderful daughter who has given me a great son(in-law) and two precious granddaughters and two equally precious grandsons. They give such pleasure. I love their hugs and kisses, their "shows", notes and pictures given to me, their "let me tell you someting in your ear" messages (which always is followed by a kiss on the cheek and an "I love you so much"), the sharing of their lives with me. I often wonder what I did to deserve any of it. It is just like salvation... it is a free gift that I do not deserve but am SOOOO thankful for.

Christmas Faces & Voices

I love to watch the faces of everyone on Christmas morning. The anticipation of opening those gifts is phenomenal. My husband always told me that I had a voice on Christmas morning whenever I woke him up. I heard that voice from many people when they called to wish me a "Merry Christmas" and to say they were on their way over. As they walked in the door the excitement was radiating out of them. We try to open one gift at a time and watch as the gift is opened. Sometimes "we" tend to forget whose turn it is and just begin ripping. My two year old grandson had to help me unwrap my gifts. The two girls asked to be taken shopping this year so that they could buy something for their family. Of course, that also included themselves. As the four year old handed out her gifts she also gave clues such as..."This is a game for you". It was so much fun to watch the joy on the faces of all involved. The ten month old was typical. He played with boxes, paper, and old toys. Now we only have a year to wait to see and hear it all over agaqin.

An attempt

Can you believe it. I have just created a blog! Not only did I create my own blog (going through Alicia's) but I first repaired my own internet access. I have been waiting a long time for some help...but I researched things myself and was able to gain access again. Do you know that some laptops have a switch that can turn off the access to your network? Well, neither did I... but I do know it now. I really wonder who could have turned it off. I have a sneaky suspicion that it might have been a blond, blue-eyed two-year old that is absolutely fascinated with machinery of any sort.

I have no idea what I should be writing about so this will be a work in progress. Since anyone reading this knows me I don't think that I will go into any detail about me. Suffice it to say... you have already heard it.
